Setting up a custom domain

As part of the branding of their platform, many of our clients prefer to switch to a custom domain name that they might have newly bought or have had their old platform running on. We are happy to help you do so as well. Below you will find how best to reach out to us so we can work with you to set up your platform on a custom domain name.

Step 1: Purchase a new domain from any domain registrar (e.g etc. )

Step 2A: (Optional but recommended by AOM).

Once you have We prefer clients to get a FREE account with a DNS host called Cloudflare provides a lot of additional security benefits, DDOS protection, captcha rules etc for free and is our recommended choice of DNS host. You can create a free account here:

Note: If you don't want to use Cloudflare as DNS host for any reason , then skip this step. 

Step 2B:

  1. Navigate to the General Settings tab in your Admin Dashboard. You can find it in the sidebar on the left under Settings -> General.
  2. After a few seconds you will see a message pop up in the bottom right of your screen, asking if you would like to set up a custom domain. Click the button Request Custom Domain.
  3. The Support Beacon will open and prompt you to send us a message explaining you would like to set up a custom domain name. We have pre-filled some content already on the subject of the conversation but feel free to edit it to your own liking. We'll then work through setting everything up together.
