Site pages are found in the dashboard at Site Pages > Pages
On the Pages page, you will see all of the published pages on your site. Pages with special identifications will be noted on the list, i.e. Home Page, Catalog Page, Cart Page, and Checkout Page.
Creating a Site Page
On the Pages page, you can create a new page by selecting Create Page.
The content of your page can be added to the content builder.
When you click inside the builder you will see three buttons in the top left corner for editing the paragraph content: Add Element, Format, and Selector.
With the + icon you will be able to add new elements to the page such as text, images, code, dividers lines, and grids.
Grids are important to understand because they allow you to segment a section of the website into parts, similar to columns. Grids can allow you to split the page and set a structure for the page to allow you to add other elements like images or quotes. Once you have added a grid, you can select a column and use the + icon to add elements inside that column.
The ¶ icon will allow you to format the element you have selected.
The # icon allows you to add a CSS class or ID to the element (which can be used to add targeted CSS styling, for example from the Custom Styling tab in the Admin Dashboard under Branding).
Next to the icons you will see the selector path which shows you which element you are looking at, as well as the parent elements.
In this case, for example, we are editing a paragraph element which is part of a column that is part of a grid. And all elements are part of the Article which is essentially the web page you are working in. You can jump to the Grid element by simply clicking on the name.
When you have selected an element on the page, on the left hand side you will see a tiny menu with actions.
These allow you to drag & re-order the element, delete the element, duplicate the element, or view the element as code, respectively from top to bottom.
Snippets serve a very special purpose for certain pages on your platform website. They help display the information on your Course Catalog, Cart, Checkout page that syncs with Academy of Mine's eCommerce features.
There are eight snippet code blocks to choose from. You can add them to any page you wish, but there are snippets specially designed to be displayed on the Course Catalog, Cart, and Checkout pages.
